Whew, the anticipation of Christmas has passed now. Christmas was fabulous! Everyone in the family was at our house for the Christmas Day Dinner! (except Taylor and Cynthia). I have the week off and I am working just as hard as a turk!!!! Not even going to start taking down the Christmas decorations, I think I deserve being able to look at them with no stress of schedule!!!! Kaela and Kylie looked so precious on Christmas dressed alike in their little Christmas dresses that Nana and Pop gave them!!! Mother and Daddy (and Shane) were here from the 20th till the 26th. The weather hasn’t been bad, just cold enough to have the fireplace going!!! I baked about 14 different sweets this year! It was a wonderful Christmas! Kept Kylie yesterday and sure enjoyed having her. James was off too, so we had fun the whole day! Love………………..Gigi
Christmas Holidays
Summer Is Over
WOW, what a summer!!! We put our pool in and love, love, love it!!!! So thankful to have had the opportunity to have family and friends all summer long! Perfect weather all summer for swimming, thank you Lord! We were in it every single day!!! Came home from work each evening and jumped in swimming suit and then right in the pool! How refreshing! It has been a wonderful summer!!! Daddy got a severe infection in his right hand under the tendons (not sure at all how it happened), had to have surgery and been in the Tyler ETMC for 15 days! Mother has been with him every minute. They should be going home on Monday or Tuesday. They are soooooo ready! Kylie and Kaela are just chattering up a storm now and growing so fast!!! Precious dolls! Went to Joe’s Crab Shack and Main Event for Lana’s 30th (and Brian’s 31st) and had an absolute blast! Bowled, Glo-Golf, and Laser Tag (which was my favorite)!!!! Where has this year already gone? Just can’t believe Gigi is already Christmas shopping!!! ……..Love….Gigi
Brain Overload
Good morning all!!! Tons going on right now, seriously having brain overload! I think Gigi needs her grandangels to make her feel all peaceful. They just bring that stress level down so quickly for me. Easter is just around the corner and I am anxious to see the girls egg hunting at Cliff and Kristin’s.
Family reunion, also is slipping up fast! Hope we have a good crowd this year too! How quickly we see time fly when we realize the short distance from one year to the next!
Daddy has surgery again on the 19th and I pray everything goes perfectly. Our God is in control and I trust him fully! Well, I need to get off to work. Hope everybody has a great day 🙂 Love……………………………Gigi

We had our precious little Kylie last night, and thoroughly enjoyed her!!! I can’t believe how big she and Kaela are getting! We are so blessed!

We worked in the yard again yesterday and my sinuses let me know that I am NUTS for not wearing a mask while raking and sweeping!!! You would think I would use more sense, but then again “you would think” NOT ME!!! Bahahahaha—– Watching NASCAR right now, sure wish Dale would win sometime soon!

Spring Starts Tommorow
Good day, Saturday! Spring starts tomorrow, yiiiipppppeeeee! I love the warm weather. I am needing my “Grandangel” fix! Miss my Kylie and Kaela, girls!
I came home from work yesterday and stayed out in the yard doing a little work in the flower bed. Loved it! Sure can tell there is a lot of pollen in the air though, ugh! My sinuses are not as happy as the rest of me, hahahaha. I have plans to go back outside and do some more “outside” work.
Only 5 weeks from tomorrow is Easter, Praise the Lord!!!

Pre-Friday
All right, tomorrow is Friday!!!! Weekend, and again Iam soooo ready for it! My sweet hubby, James, set me up to be able to print pics from my computer! I have been nagging him forever and he went out today, on his day off , no less, and fixed it so I can print from my laptop!!! I am such a “happy camper” tonight! I have the sweetest guy!
Now, I must get my hair done so I can watch The Mentalist. Really cold out, got the electric blanket on. Oh, I forgot to mention, my sweetie also had homemade chili made too!!! It was delicious!!!!!!! So, you know I am right when I say, “he’s the best”!!!!!! Love you all………………Gigi
Friday night!
Sooooo glad it is the weekend! This has been an extra long feeling week. I wish I had my 2 grandangels here to squeeze! I miss them! 🙁 Just can’t believe it is already the middle of January, 2011. We have had some terrible cold weather this week. We have had nothing to complain about though. All we like to get weather wise, is enough to kill the BUGS!!!!!!
What????????? Changing the signs of the Zodiac? What next, don’t like the names of the months, days of the week, how many days in a week, month, or year? For gosh sakes, leave us alone!!! I am thinking we need to speak up, step up, and stand up before we aren’t allowed to! Ok, enough seriousness! God help us!
I bet my sweet little grandangels are snoozing now. My wonderful husband is sitting over here in his recliner working on his lap top! Fancie Pantz is stretched out beside me here on the couch, snoozing! She loves being lazy, of course, that is pretty much her daily routine, hahahahaha!
Super Bowl coming to Big D in just a couple weeks! On the news tonight, some thugs stoled a laptop after breaking into a car at Joe’s Crabshack near the stadium, it has all kinds of secret info on it! See, criminals are not afraid in this country any more! If they were punished instead of petted, we might see a shift in crime!!!!!!!! Ooops, I got serious again, didn’t I?

2010 Holidays
Haven’t written on here in months, wow, holidays were fabulous! My 2 precious grandangels, Kylie and Kaela are getting so “big girl”! I love them both so very much! They are just sooooo beautiful! I just don’t get to see them often enough.
I can’t believe my son, Clay will be 33 tomorrow!!! I just can’t believe how time flies. Clay and Maggie’s wedding in October was “the bomb”!!!! We had a blast except for my broken rib that happened 2 hours into the 12 hour drive! Partied hard the whole time, so, it didn’t really bother me! Enjoyed seeing the house we lived in when I was a little girl! Went and visited Doreen and Gene (cousins) and loved it! Went to Maggie’s parents and loved it! What can I say, it was “the bomb”!!!!!!!
Texas weather is so fickle, if you blink, you miss it! From one extreme to the other, overnight! Kylie will be “2” in only 20 days! My sweet Mother & Daddy finally have a stove after several years! I really don’t know how or why she went so long cooking on hot plates, microwave, electric skillet, etc!!!! Bless her heart, she didn’t complain either! (we did!) She is so cute, says she can’t believe how fast the eye’s on the stove heat up!!!!! I tell her, that’s because you haven’t had a stove to cook on, Mother!!!!!
James is cooking his delicious vegetable soup right now. Should be ready to eat in about an hour, yummmmmmm! Cliff came by and stocked up on Christmas goodies! I suppose I should make Pecan Fluffs year round, as much as everyone loves them!!! lol Oh, I have also been doing the skype thing on the computer and love that!! In fact, I forget to get Mother and Daddy to do it with me!!! Whoooo Hooooo November elections! Keep building the steam up folks! We really gotta get OUR COUNTRY back on track!!! Beautiful Wedding
Oh my goodness!!! Clay and Maggie had the most beautiful wedding! We all had an absolute ball! Kristi and Michael rode with James and me to St. Louis and had such fun!! (except for my broken rib that I managed to get less than 3 hours into the drive!) Being born in St. Louis, Kristi and I really enjoyed trying to soak up as much visual as we could! My rib is getting better with each day. Getting ready for Halloween tonight. I can’t believe how big Kylie and Kaela are getting! They are the loves of my life! Try to write more soon………………….. Gigi
